Augusta, Mo. is located on the bluffs above the Missouri River Valley, a scenic 35 mile drive from St. Louis. Augusta is an unpretentious community where folks still work and live, where people still hang clothes on lines to dry, gather at churches for socials, where children still play at the town square, where fathers meet across the street at the tavern to play horseshoes, and families come together at the ball diamond to cheer their team on to glory.

Visitors can enjoy the flavors of the community while strolling around this quaint village - it’s the way the world used to be and visiting families seem to enjoy it that way. There are many ways to relax in Augusta. For instance, you may fancy a bicycle ride on the Katy Trail. The scenic Katy Trail is the longest “National Rails-to-Trails” project.
