Conover rests beside the Pioneer River just East of the Wisconsin River on US Highway 45 in the upper lakes region of Northern Wisconsin. The Town born out of logging by the Finish, Danish and Swedish settlers was names after Seth Conover, a Southern Wisconsin lover of the area around North Twin Lake who once owned Lakota Resort next to the current boat landing. The Chamber actively promotes the area and currently has an information center located in the heart of Conover on Highway 45. Stop in and visit us!
