Door County Maritime Museum--between the downtown bridges on Sturgeon Bay’s working waterfront. Shipbuilding history, extensive ship model collection, refurbished steamship pilot house, classic boats, World War II exhibit w/periscope & featured exhibit “Pirates - Ship to Shore”. Open 10-5 daily; 9-5 July 1 thru Labor Day. Seasonal facilities: Gills Rock maritime museum open 10-5 daily mid-June to Oct. and Cana Island Lighthouse north of Baileys Harbor, 10-5 daily May thru Oct. www.dcmm.org
